This is the perfect beverage for your BBQs, kid’s birthday, or just a hot summer day! Not only is this Strawberry Lemonade refreshing and fruity, it also has the “WOW” factor. The strawberries give the lemonade a beautiful pink color and that amazing flavor.

Is this lemonade really keto-friendly!
With only 3 grams of sugar (and 4 grams of net carbs) per serving, this strawberry lemonade will fit right in with your low-carb lifestyle! While the strawberries have a few natural sugars, these berries are still pretty low in carbs (compared to other fruits). And lemons, of course, are very low in sugar with only 1.5 grams per lemon.
To sweeten up this lemonade, I use liquid stevia. It’s a natural, keto-friendly sweetener that dissolves easily in water. And since lemonade is mostly made with water, we don’t need to worry about any carbs coming from that!
How to make strawberry lemonade!
In just a few steps, you can have your homemade lemonade ready to serve! First, squeeze your lemons for some fresh lemon juice. Purée your strawberries, sieve them through a fine-mesh strainer and add them to your lemon juice. Add water and sweetener, and you’re done! So easy and fast!
How to serve this keto lemonade?
Just like any lemonade, you want to serve this Keto Strawberry Lemonade chilled with plenty of ice cubes. I like to add ice cubes to my bowl (or pitcher) of lemonade, AS WELL as to each serving glass. Ice not only refreshes on hot days but helps to dilute the lemonade some more.
Tips for making quick and easy low-carb lemonade!
Lemon juice. You need freshly squeezed lemon juice for this recipe. With a lemon squeezer and about 7 large lemons, I make 1 1/2 cups of juice. You can easily prepare the juice a few days ahead of time and store it covered in the fridge.
Strawberries. Stem 1/2 pounds of fresh strawberries, then purée with a blender or immersion blender. If your strawberries are large, cut them in half first. Next, blend some more with water, and strain the strawberry juice though a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
Water. Dilute the lemonade with cold water. Altogether, I add 5 cups of cold water. Feel free, to add a bit more or less, depending on your liking.
Sweetener. I use liquid stevia to sweeten the lemonade. I think it works best for cold beverages. However, you can also use another keto-friendly sweetener that dissolves well (i.e. monk fruit or allulose). I don’t recommend erythritol for this recipe, as it doesn’t dissolve well.
Serving. Serve the lemonade with plenty of ice cubes. Add a slice of lemon and strawberry to your glass for some deco and enjoy!

Keto Strawberry Lemonade
- 1½ cups lemon juice 375 ml, freshly squeezed, ca. 7 large lemons
- ½ pound strawberries 225 grams, stems removed
- 1 cup cold water 250 ml
- 4 cups cold water 1 liter
- 2 tbsp liquid stevia
- Pour lemon juice into a large bowl or pitcher.
- With a blender or immersion blender, puree the strawberries until liquid. Add 1 cup of cold water and puree into a juice. Strain juice through a fine-mesh sieve (to remove seeds) straight into the lemon juice.
- Add 4 more cups of cold water and liquid stevia. Stir.
- When you're ready to serve, either add ice cubes straight to the lemonade or to your serving glasses. Store leftover lemonade in covered bowl or pitcher for 7 days in refrigerator.
