Half coffee, half ice cream – the Keto Coffee Float is the perfect pick-me up treat for the summer! Refreshing, creamy, and made with only handful of ingredients.

Go to any German ice cream parlor and you will find a coffee float (Eiskaffee) on the menu. This treat is a drinkable dessert that’s half coffee and half ice cream, topped with sweetened whipped cream. It’s the perfect summer treat for all you coffee lovers out there!

The consistency is similar to a milkshake or Frappuccino. You can drink it with a straw and spoon up any thicker ice cream bits. Unlike milkshakes or Frappuccinos, though, you DON’T need a blender to whip up this cold treat. I love how easy and fast it is to prepare!

This recipe is 100% keto! No added sugar, no grains, and made with low-carb vanilla ice cream! Each serving has only 3 net grams of carbohydrates. All the yum without any of the guilt!

Tips for making Keto Coffee Floats!

Serving of EASY Keto Vanilla Ice Cream

Coffee. Brew one cup of your favorite coffee and chill in refrigerator until completely cold. This recipe works great with leftover coffee. Don’t sweeten it.

Ice cream. For this recipe, I use my homemade Keto Vanilla Ice Cream. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can use store-bought vanilla keto ice cream. Of course, nothing can compare with homemade ice cream, though. You will need 4 scoops for 2 servings.

Whipped cream. Beat heavy cream with erythritol and vanilla extract until peaks form.

Assembly. Start with two tall glasses. Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in each glass and slowly pour chilled coffee over the ice cream. Top off with heavy cream and some cocoa powder. Enjoy!

  • In a medium bowl, beat heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sweetener until peaks form. Set aside.
  • In two tall glasses, add 2 scoops of keto vanilla ice cream each. Slowly pour half a cup of cold coffee in each glass.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder if desired. Enjoy!
