After reading about the carnivore diet, like this book by Paul Saladino: Carnivore Code: Unlocking the Secrets to Optimal Health by Returning to Our Ancestral Diet, I have been inspired to try out more carnivorous baking. This Carnivore Breakfast Pizza is nut-free, grain-free, low-carb, and made with animal products only (if you don’t count the spices)!

The base of this keto pizza is my Carnivore Flatbread. It is SUPER EASY to make and only requires 3 ingredients! I have already used this flatbread to make a delicious Keto Cream Spinach Stromboli and now decided to use it as the crust for this hearty Carnivore Breakfast Pizza! By the way, this pizza also works great for lunch or dinner.

Tips for making this mouthwatering Carnivore Breakfast Pizza!

CrustTo make the crust for this carnivore pizza, we will make one batch of my Carnivore Flatbread. All you need is eggs, Greek yogurt, mozzarella, and some spices. Spread out the batter into an oval or rectangle of about 13×11 inches and bake.

You can easily make this crust ahead of time. If you want to bake this pizza for breakfast, make the crust the night before. Later, all you got left in the morning is adding the toppings and bake!

Sauce. This breakfast pizza is topped off with a sour cream sauce. Simply whisk together sour cream, heavy cream, pressed/minced garlic, salt, and shredded cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar, or gouda all work well). Spread this sauce over the baked crust. Finally, add the meat.

Meat. This breakfast pizza tastes amazing with crispy bacon, but other meats work well, too! Feel free to try chopped deli ham or cooked breakfast sausage, or a combination of different kinds of meats.

Top off your pizza with your meat of choice, and then bake on a lined baking sheet for about 15 minutes at 415 °F, until the cheese is melted. YUM!

It’s keto, it’s grain-free, it’s a delicious Carnivore Breakfast Pizza!
